
bizConnect Business Program
The purpose of the bizConnect Business Acceleration Program at the ATP Innovations, is to facilitate the growth of promising Australian ideas and technologies into successful global businesses. The program provides businesses with assistance that can help accelerate their growth, and maximise their prospects of success, from the critical early stages of development.
A range of services and programs are made available to clients, including preferential access to leading edge legal, accounting and strategic advice.
Program Benefits
- Business mentoring.
- Access to a broad network in the venture capital community, strategic partners, service providers, government grants, media, overseas trade opportunities.
- Access to high speed IT&T infrastructure
- Critical mass and economies of scale, resulting in beneficially priced service provision. Full "serviced office" services including: reception, switchboard and mail handling, flexible occupancy for workstation and office accommodation, telephone, cleaning, plug power, air conditioning, meeting rooms, library/magazine facility, presentation rooms, photocopying, facsimile (call charge).
- Cost effective full service fee varies according to the space occupied.
- Linkage with technology researchers, graduates and post graduates from the stakeholder universities.
In addition to the program benefits noted above, ATP Innovations offer a number of intangible benefits, such as advanced technology lifestyle, synergy with other tenants, relationships and networks, encouragement from other businesses with similar issues, and government support and possible funding.
bizConnect Facilities
ATP Innovations has a range of facilities available for bizConnect Clients. These include office suites ranging in size from 12 sqm to suites of 100 sqm and over are available.
Workstations are also available for short-term lease and solo operators starting out. Please see our bizStart Section for details on these.
ATP Innovations located within the heritage listed National Innovation Centre. With over 6000 sqm of accommodation, ATP Innovations is capable of hosting a diverse range of enterprises. All facilities are state of the art. An important part of the community focus is the Central Cafe located within the NIC atrium, which provides a key meeting place for our clients and their visitors.

The ATP Innovations receives many inquiries and applications from businesses and enthusiastic founders seeking to join our business acceleration program. ATP Innovations carefully considers those applications in view of our entry criteria and available space.
Application approval is at the discretion of our ATP Innovations management. The management evaluates the following general entry criteria:
- The business is a new initiative or at an early stage of development.
- The Business Plan demonstrates satisfactory prospects for success (as determined by ATP Innovations ).
- The business is not in competition with an existing participant business.
- The office space requirements of the business can be met given the office space that is available.
- The business and individuals concerned with the business are willing to abide by the terms of our Client Services Agreement.
